is a generative AI-powered tool designed to accelerate and simplify literature reviews. It combines an intuitive AI chatbot with features like article collections to create a streamlined experience tailored for academic research.

Unlike generic tools, Cliptus AI offers a focused and responsible alternative, enhancing both precision and productivity for researchers.

The most challenging part of this project was integrating the chatbot onto readily available research papers. We achieved this with the divider right below the Project Name section: this design allowed us to provide a seamless transition without taking away from the functionality or simplicity of the chatbot.

This function was crucial as it allowed researchers to view the corresponding, highlighted section of a research paper. Cliptus AI could point out certain sections from the paper in relation to the given prompts, so it was important that this functionality was turned into a selling point with a simple design.

Other functions of the product include creating collections for various research projects, archiving these collections, and suggesting papers based on their relevance to the current project.

Cliptus AI was a unique project, created as a general-purpose tool for the academic research community rather than a client-specific product. The layouts above are the result of extensive market research and planning, tailored to streamline research workflows while standing out in the generative AI ecosystem.

This experience emphasized the importance of designing for broader usability without compromising on functionality.
